Bartending Services
We have the ability to customize your service experience however you may like! Below are some base prices, service options and bar themes to help get your creative juices flowing.

Bartending and Pricing

Either you supply the alcohol, or we supply the alcohol and add to your service bill.

$1000 base price--includes our fun, engaging, unique vintage bar experience for your guests, four hours of service w/ one bartender per 75 guests, trailer rental, set-up, take down, menu planning and all barware/tools Additional service hours may be added at $200/hr.

$150 bar stocking fee to cover garnishes, cups, special preparations, ice, etc.

$1/mile travel fee roundtrip for for locations outside of city limits of Iowa City, Iowa.

.06% sales tax and 18% service gratuity will be added to your final service agreement.
Hybrid Bar Option
Our hybrid option allows your guests to purchase drinks in addition to what you plan to provide. We can work with you to create a cash bar menu that compliments your catering as well as your guest's tastes. In these cases, we can provide/source alcohol needed (ex. bride and groom want to provide one drink before dinner and one with dinner. They know their family is a rowdy bunch so they want them to have the option to purchase additional beverages).

for open bars, a tab will be charged to a credit card on file upon conclusion of on-site services to cover your guests consumption.

for cash bars, guests buy their own drinks, clients are responsible for fees associated with temporary liquor sales licenses. These fees may range from $30-$300. We provide alcohol.

Our bar themes are designed to showcase particular types of alcohol, as well as fit into different times of day your celebration e.g rehearsal dinners, receptions, post wedding brunch, bachelorette/bachelor parties, tailgate, backyard picnic, etc!

Perfect for daylight gatherings or mid-morning rallies, we'll stock your favorite chilled bubbly beverages and pour until your guests have had their fill.
Craft Cocktails
Show your guests you love them by having a really good drink menu planned and ready to go. From power hour wedding receptions to more intimate events, unleash the spirits with our timeless style.
Bloody Mary Morning
Rally your team with Titos Vodka and homemade bloody mary mix. We're foodies turned drink snobs---let our hair of the dog be your secret weapon.
Wine Bar
Sometimes all you need is really good glass of red wine. We can help you procure delicious wines to accent the vibe of any location or event. Pairs great with nachos!

I like beer, you like beer, we all like beer, let's drink the best beer we can find! From kegs to troughs of cans, we can make it rain
FAQ
How does liability and insurance work?
We carry full liquor liability coverage and can present your venue with an insurance certificate within 3-5 business days.
What about liquor permits?
If you choose our cash bar option we pull "temporary licenses" for each event location. This license in addition to our trained bartenders and insurance liability policy will satisfy most all venue requirements and state of Iowa laws.
What's the horse trailer size and parking requirements?
Old blue is a your standard "two horse trailer" with a perimeter foot print of 5' x 9'--we request a dedicate space of at least 10 x 10 for behind trailer storage and access. Have the ability to bring our own quiet Honda inverter, but we are happy to use your grid power to keep things ever quieter if available.
